Michael started his career after studying economics at the management consultancy Arthur Andersen and later on KPMG. In 1999, Michael Eckert moved to Thomas Cook Group, where he initially headed Group Reporting and later rose to Chief Financial Officer of the German Source Market.
In 2004, the Michael took over the responsibility as CFO for the Aldiana division, where he was appointed Managing Director two years later. He joined ECE first time in 2012. After an interruption as Managing Director at Robinson Club GmbH/TUI Group, he is responsible as Senior Director Finance, Accounting and Controlling for these areas for ECE Group.
